Andrew has been working on Sandtable pretty much his whole life. The company is named after a sand table he had when he was 9. There were interludes studying physics, doing software development, building and selling a web development company, travelling, having children, and advising a brand design company. But all roads have led to Sandtable.
Andrew built Sandtable’s first agent-based models himself but has now banned himself from model development. He spends most of his time building the business and talking to people about the power of simulations to explain, predict and plan more effectively. He is disappointed to report that his most frequently used application is Powerpoint.
Outside the office he enjoys running, hiking, rugby, and family. He tries, mostly unsuccessfully, to avoid commuting.
