Prior to joining Sandtable, Florian did his PhD in Computational Chemistry studying the dynamic interactions between small molecules and proteins as well as developing new methods to generate parameters for atomistic interactions.
Joining Sandtable allowed Florian to combine his interest in decision-making and his passion for using data and computers in his everyday work. While at Sandtable he has worked on a model estimating the impact of advertisement spending on brand growth as well as looking at opinion propagation through social networks. Apart from the modelling work he is also interested in developing data science best practises to make the day-to-day tasks more efficient.
Outside of work, Florian can be found travelling as much as he can as well as engaging in a variety of sport and social activities.
