Before joining Sandtable, Samuel worked for 5 years in Paris on big data for the telecoms industry, building backend applications and databases to store, index (and query) billions of events per day.
At Sandtable, he’s built the scheduler that gracefully brings the cloud infrastructure up and down every day. He’s currently working on a single sign on solution to enable users to access Sandpipr’s multitude of services from a single account. He’s good at writing simple, robust and efficient code and his favorite tools are git and vim.
In his spare time he enjoys red wine, French Cheese and everything related to food. He also volunteers for homeless charities. Sports-wise, he’s keen on running, cycling and swimming. He also raises ants.
